About Us
Founded in the heart of Durgapur, Nritya Kala Mandir has been nurturing the art of Indian classical dance for over 19 years. Our institute is a sanctuary where tradition meets passion, and every movement tells a story passed down through generations.
Our Guru, a graded artist of Doordarshan Kendra Kolkata, has performed across prestigious Indian festivals and internationally in Germany, Netherlands, and Sweden — bringing world-class expertise to every class.
"Get In TouchLet your life lightly dance on the edges of Time like dew on the tip of a leaf.
— Rabindranath Tagore
What We Teach
One of India's oldest classical dance forms, rooted in Tamil Nadu's temple traditions — a rigorous art of rhythm and devotion.
A vibrant dance-drama tradition from Andhra Pradesh combining pure dance, expressive mime and devotional themes.
Kerala's lyrical and feminine classical dance, characterised by swaying graceful movements evoking the enchantress Mohini.
